Sensory Movies

Proudly supported by the Forum 6 Theatre, Trail Street, Wagga.

Proudly hosted by the Wagga Autism Support Group (WASG).

A ‘sensory’ movie experience allows a child with sensory issues to enjoy going to the movies! All disabilities included.

The cinema lights are turned down low (but not completely off), and the volume in the theatre is also turned down.

There is an audience understanding of the use of iPads, headphones etc as coping tools, and children have the ability to move around the theatre if needed.  It is intended to be a non-judgemental environment to experience going to the movies.

There is a lift available for wheelie access to theatre.

Please note - this is not a respite service and a carer must remain with their sensory child.

NEXT SENSORY MOVIE:   will be held in Term 3, title is TBA.

 Sensory Santa

The annual Wagga Autism Support Group's Sensory Santa will be held again in December 2022! Watch this space for more details!

Sensory Santa provides an opportunity for families to have photos taken with Santa (and his helpers) in a calm and sensitive environment. There are no lines or other customers invading your space, and there is the option for photos with or without Santa. Bookings are expected to open from November 2022.

Superhero Walk

Due to the ongoing uncertainty about the COVID-19 situation, we took the difficult decision to defer our annual Superhero Walk this year.

We plan to be back, bigger and better in 2023!
