Sensory Movies
Proudly supported by the Forum 6 Theatre, Trail Street, Wagga and Origin Energy.
Proudly hosted by the Wagga Autism Support Group (WASG).
A ‘sensory’ movie experience allows a child with sensory issues to enjoy going to the movies! All disabilities included.
The cinema lights are turned down low (but not completely off), and the volume in the theatre is also turned down.
There is an audience understanding of the use of iPads, headphones etc as coping tools, and children have the ability to move around the theatre if needed. It is intended to be a non-judgemental environment to experience going to the movies.
There is a lift available for wheelie access to theatre.
Please note - this is not a respite service and a carer must remain with their sensory child.

School holiday Bush Dyeing workshop
Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.
Come along to a school holiday workshop with Wagga Wagga Urban Landcare and Murrumbidgee Landcare!
Join us for a morning of bush dyeing, led by Gomeroi artist Debbie Wood. You can choose either a tshirt or scarf to dye. You can even incorporate natural objects into your dyeing such as leaves, flowers and seedpods!
You'll also have the opportunity to learn to weave your own bracelet, while your item soaks in the dye. Alternatively, you are welcome to spend time exploring the gardens at Erin Earth.
All materials will be supplied.

This workshop is perfect for young people aged 12 to 24 years. Younger children are welcome, but will require parental supervision.
Please bring a hat and water bottle.
Minimal support will be provided; if you need one-on-one care, please bring individual support.
This workshop has been proudly funded by the NSW Government, a Bulk Gives Back grant and the NSW Landcare Enabling Program, a collaboration of Local Land Services and Landcare NSW supported by the NSW Government.
